By road:

From the north (M5 or A38)

From M5 or A38 leave at junction 27 for Tiverton.  Follow the A361 towards Barnstaple.  After several miles take the South Molton turn off the traffic island and head on the A3227 towards Umberleigh.

Turn left at Umberleigh onto the A377 until you reach Kingford. Immediately inside the village is a right turn that takes you up through some woodland.  At the top turn left and follow that road until you reach the garage at Dolton Beacon.  Turn right and follow the A3124 for 3 miles to Beaford.

From the South or East (A30)

At Whiddon Down leave the A30 and take the first right after the services (A3124).  Follow to Winkleigh and at the T Junction turn left.  Follow for 6 miles to Beaford.

By Public Transport

The village is on the A3124 using the 5B bus from Exeter, Barnstaple or Bideford. Stagecoach timetable is available here.

From Exeter

Head along the A377 until you reach Morchard Road then take the left towards Winkleigh.  Keep going until you reach Beaford.

From Barnstaple

Head towards Great Torrington.  Then take the road towards RHS Rosemoor. Continue past the gardens and keep going for 4 miles until you reach Beaford.
