Rev Ally, who has served as our mission community curate since her ordination in June 2023 will be licenced as interim vicar in Bishops Tawton and Newport on 21st April 2026. All are welcome to the licencing service in Newport Church at 7.00pm.
We have been truly blessed by Ally and her ministry amongst us. Whilst based in Beaford, she has ministered across the mission community. As well as leading services, some of Ally’s main contributions to our mission community have been serving as a governor at Beaford school, leading collective worship predominantly in Beaford and Holywell, conducted many baptisms, weddings and funerals, and leading youth group. She has turned her hand to many other things as part of her training, and she is now fully equipped to lead her own parishes.
We will be saying ‘goodbye and thank you’ to Ally, Danny and the girls in a short service in Beaford church on Sunday 29th March at 4.00pm. This will be followed by a glass of fizz and a finger buffet in Beaford village hall from about 4.45pm. Everyone is invited to join us at church and/or the hall.
