Monday 15th June – 09:30am until 10:45am – Church Meeting
Monday 15th June – 2pm until 4pm – Short Mat Bowls – The Short Mat Bowling Club has a roll-up every Monday afternoon from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. If you fancy giving bowling a try then just come along before the start of the session and either watch or join in with the other bowlers. No experience is necessary as training is given to new and inexperienced players. The club holds a range of different size woods to fit all hand sizes. Please bring a pair of slippers or soft soled shoes with you to wear on the bowling carpets. The first three sessions are free, after this, each session is charged at £3.00. This includes tea and biscuits and a good chat. Alternatively, you can ring Gloria or John and have a chat about the bowling club on 01805 603394

Tuesday 16th June – 8pm until 10pm – Pickleball – Come and have a go at Pickleball in the village hall and join in with one of the fastest growing sports! Equipment is provided and tuition is available for beginners. First taster session is free, £3 per session thereafter.

Friday 19th June – 9am until 11am – Beaford Parent Community Hub invite you to join us for coffee and biscuits. We would like to bring the old and the young together with the help of biscuits and shared activities. So come and find us every Friday Morning during school term time.
Friday 19th June – 4:30pm until 8:30pm – Pig & Olive Pizza – We’re back at Beaford Village hall this Friday (19th June); we absolutely love serving here with one of the most beautiful backdrops of any stop on our route. We’ll be there from 16:30 until 20:30 firing up our stone-baked pizzas made with 22-hour fermented dough, topped with carefully chosen ingredients for maximum flavour and quality. Saturday 20th June – 10am until 4pm – Beaford Bike Meet -Raising funds for Devon Air Ambulance and the Village Hall – You don’t need to be a bike enthusiast to come along to Doorstep Green because, as well as the motorbikes in attendance, our kitchen will be open serving hot & cold drinks, cakes, and cream teas. In the field (under cover) we’ll be serving freshly cooked bacon baps until midday, then from noon onwards, the bar will be open serving alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic and soft drinks, plus the BBQ will be serving freshly made burgers from our local butcher (vegetarian options will be available). Various stallholders will be in attendance for you to browse. Unless, you are bringing a motorbike, it is FREE Entry. The entry fee (cash only) for each motorbike is £3.
