You can join in as many or as few of the exercises as you feel comfortable with. After our exercise session we have some social time to catch up, relax and unwind with plenty of refreshments! Our group covers all ages and abilities and new members are always very welcome, so if you fancy giving it a go, please get in touch : – email Beafordvillage@gmail.com The cost is £7 per session

Thursday 7th May 1pm until 3pm – Sewing & Quilting Group – The Beaford Quilting and Sewing group meets on a monthly basis, usually on the first Thursday of the month between 1-3 in the Village Hall. We have a small number of regular attendees who have varied skills and interests. We are all friendly and enjoy all kinds of sewing, patchwork, quilting and embroidery, whether by hand or on a sewing machine. We pass on skills to each other as we chat and quilt or sew. Over the last few years we have worked on a variety of projects ranging from wash bags, appliqué cushions, patchwork blocks, to king size quilts! We have also made some items for a local charity and would be happy to do so again. When we aren’t working on projects together, we just bring our own craft items to work on whatever that may be and this is a great way to finish all those started projects that never seem to get finished. Or if you have reached a sticking point and need the benefit of somebody else’s experience this is the place to come. We are always looking for new members whether beginner, experienced or just interested, so if this is something you would like to get involved with or perhaps learn a new hobby in a friendly supportive environment, then why not get in touch. The cost for each session is £5 which includes plenty of refreshments. Please email beafordvillage@gmail.com for more information.

Saturday 9th May – 9:30am until Noon – Community Café – An opportunity for you to treat yourself to a delicious breakfast bap, hot drink and/or home baked cake from our kitchen. Amy’s Pantry will be on site in the car park, as well as a small selection of traders in the main hall.
